Usher Furious With Jennifer Lopez

Usher is furious and has lashed out at Jennifer Lopez for allegedly stealing a song he originally recorded for his mega-successful album Confessions.

Usher claims Jenifer's new single "Get Right" is a re-recorded version of a song he'd co-written called "Ride" which wasn't included on Confession, but was available as a 2004 12-inch club record and on the Internet.

Usher: "I hate it. And I'd better get some of the publishing rights, I didn't put it on my album because I couldn't get it right. But I didn't expect J.Lo to just take it."

Rich Harrison, producer of both tracks, co-wrote the track with Usher and apparently decided to use it during recording sessions for J.Lo's upcoming album.

According to FOX news, this isn't the first time Lopez has bitten the works of others. She allegedly remade "I'm Real" featuring Ja Rule on an inside tip from Tommy Mottola who said ex-wife Mariah Carey had done something similar with the same music sample for what turned out to be ill-fated Glitter soundtrack.
