Alongside presenter Chris Evans's big ego, there could be a pair of big buns headlining this year's Brit Awards.

If organisers get their way, J-Lo will be strutting her stuff on the big stage as the gongs are handed out to the musical elite.

And McFly.

Probably.

According to reports, a Brits spokesman said: "Jennifer Lopez is one of the people we have asked to perform and we're waiting to hear if she can fit it into her schedule.

“The line-up is already great, but it would be great to have her on the bill, too."

So they're, like, not that bovvered or anything.

Despite playing it cool, we hope the Brits team have got their paintbrushes handy to redecorate the dressing room to Mrs Marc Anthony's exacting standards.

And, oh, is that a job lot of fancy-dan scented candles and lilies we see being shipped into Earls Court in preparation?

The group was originally scheduled to perform, but frontman Bono told reporters one of the band's members was attending to a sick child.
