Jennifer
Lopez claims her management team
encourage her to be a diva because
it makes her look interesting.
The sexy star is well known for her
huge entourages and outrageous
demands whenever she tours or
appears on TV shows.
However, when she appeared on
Michael Parkinson's TV chat show
with a demanding list of what she
wanted, she reportedly told him it
had nothing to do with her.
Parkinson said: "Jennifer Lopez
wanted special lights and fabric in
her dressing room, and all of that
stuff. I never got to see this
set-up she insisted on because the
bouncers wouldn't let me in! But I
asked her about it.
"She said it was just part of the
power game and that it wasn't her
who demanded it but her people, and
that they know all of this nonsense
makes her look more interesting.
It's all part of that wonderful
Hollywood pizzazz and bulls**t."

Jennifer Lopez ‘s $2 Million Performance |
Jennifer
Lopez has been paid a staggering £1
million by a Russian billionaire to
perform at a private concert.
Andrei Melnichenko has asked the
Latin star to put on a 40-minute
show at his wife Aleksandra's 30th
birthday party tomorrow night
(21.04.07).
Melnichenko is paying £600,000 for
the performance and a further
£400,000 to fly J.Lo's entourage
from the US to Britain where the
party will take place.
The bash will take place in the
Berkshire countryside although J.Lo
and her entourage will stay in a top
London hotel which is included in
the £400,000 payment.
A source close to the singer said:
"Andrei and Aleksandra are huge fans
of J.Lo and were thrilled when she
agreed to sing for them. It will be
an unusual audience for J.Lo, as the
bash will be packed with
billionaires."
The party, which will take place in
a marquee decorated like a plush
nightclub, will be an extravagant
occasion, with the all-day event
including a cabaret and circus act.

Idol got a little spicy with
Jennifer Lopez! The remaining eight
Idols had a "mentor" session with
J.Lo.
Lopez appeared on Tuesday on the
10th edition of Idol.
Other celebrities have also mentored
the contestants like, Diana Ross,
Gwen Stefani and Tony Bennett.
Martina McBride and Jon Bon Jovi are
both scheduled to appear later on in
the month. Rumors have also surfaced
that Kelly Clarkson might make a
return to work with this season's
wannabees as well, reported Gay
Socialites.
The eight contestants that are still
standing: Melinda Doolittle, Jordin
Sparks, LaKisha Jones, Blake Lewis,
Chris Richardson, Haley Scarnato,

JENNIFER
LOPEZ will produce a new
Spanish-language TV miniseries and
provide the project's soundtrack.
The singer/actress is the driving
force behind upcoming five hour
musical drama, LA FLOR PALIDA, which
will be Spanish network Univision's
first miniseries when it airs this
summer (07). As well as serving as
the project's executive producer,
tracks from Lopez's new
Spanish-language album, COMO AMA UNA
MUJER. The venture will also reteam
Lopez with LEON ICHASO, the director
of her upcoming movie EL CANTANTE.
Ichaso will direct La Flor Palida.

- and can relate to her breakdown.
The 'Wedding Planner' star - who
lived in the media spotlight during
her relationships with P Diddy and
Ben Affleck - can understand why the
'Toxic' singer shaved her head and
checked into rehab.
Jennifer told Elle magazine: "I feel
very sorry for Britney because I
understand what she's going through.
"It's very easy to judge from the
outside, but if you've been in that
situation you know hard things can
get, everything becomes so mad.
"For me, personally, it was always
work that pushed me. But I feel
sorry for her. I really do.
Jennifer says she decided to change
her lifestyle a few years ago
because she didn't want to get too
wrapped up in her celebrity status.
She explained, "The lifestyle just
gets to you after a while. I mean,
it can be great, it can be exciting,
but it's just totally full on. It
takes over everything else, and soon
it all becomes too much.
"I decided to get off the spinning
carousel ride. It was a definite
choice I made and I have to say it
was quite a scary one because, even
though you know that you feel you
want the madness to stop, once you

instinct is to panic and then jump

Jennifer
Lopez’s new Spanish language album
has bombed in the US, selling just
50,000 in its first week of release.
Whilst that figure might sound a
lot, its way down on expectations
and the fact J.Lo managed to get
banned from the Latino music chain
in America, Ritmo Latino.
The 37-year-old, who got her husband
Marc Anthony in to produce Como Ama
una Mujer (How A Woman Loves),
refused to do an in store appearance
at the stores because they only
stocked Hispanic music.
Ritmo president David Massry
explained, "We've supported her from
the beginning. Now we're told from
the record company she will only
visit Anglo retail outlets.
"This is a Spanish CD, and if she
wants to discriminate against the
Latin community then we will not
sell her product.
"Celebrities have the notion that
when they reach a certain level of
crossover appeal, they can quickly
forget where they started. We will
not tolerate this."
And neither will the public by the
sound of it.

Jennifer Lopez's First All Spanish Album |
Latin
sensation Jennifer Lopez's first
album sung solely in Spanish, "Como
Ama Una Mujer," hits stores Tuesday.
The album, "Como Ama Una Mujer,"
which means "How a Woman Loves," is
co-produced by Lopez's husband, Marc
Anthony, the Los Angeles Times
reported.
Lopez was talked out of singing in
Spanish by former Sony executive
Tommy Mottola when her career was
just starting, but now she said she
is happy to be able to return and do
an album in her chosen language.
"I thought that my career was going
to be in Spanish music, honestly,"
Lopez said. "My life took a
different turn, which was great for
me. But my heart was always kind of
on the Spanish side."
Lopez, like many other Latinos born
in the U.S., grew up mostly speaking
English. She did not learn Spanish
until she became an adult.
"I know it's not maybe what people
would expect from me," she said.
"But this is a beautiful opportunity
for me to show a side of myself that
is such a big part of who I am."

Jennifer
Lopez has opened up and revealed why
she finds Marc Anthony attractive.
While many women, and men, have
questioned how one of the most
beautiful women in the world can
wake up next to a ghost-like
Anthony, J.Lo has told Harper's
Bazaar magazine that it has nothing
to do with his looks.
The Latin diva, who has been working
closely with Anthony since they
married in 2005, praised the calming
effect her third marriage has had.
She said, "He makes me slow down and
eat lunch, which I used not to do.
We have different philosophies. I've
been so disciplined. His process is
'Chill, don't kill yourself.' Maybe,
I've got a martyr thing because I
was raised Catholic. But with him I
feel like I should relax and slow
down. That's a first for me."
Lopez, who has been married to
waiter Ojani Noa and dancer Chris
Judd in the past, continued to talk
about Anthony to Vanity Fair
magazine.
She has been tight lipped on her
relationship with the singer since
her time with Ben Affleck, which
resulted in media chaos surrounding
the couple.
She continued to Italian Vanity
Fair, "We aren't the type to
separate our lives from our work.
It's a synergy: music, cinema, the
everyday things and most
importantly, our love."
The actress-and-singer's private
life has been well-documented and
she has confirmed that she loves to
love.
She said, "How do I love? With all
of myself, passionately, without
regard for the mistakes which one
inevitably makes. Let me put it as I
have in my song: 'Amo como una mujer,
que vee en su hombre el paraiso (I
love like a woman who sees heaven in
her man).'"
And despite being panned for her
apparent love of weddings, Lopez
says she has no regrets.
She concluded, "I have no regrets,
but these new experiences have
transformed me. Today, I am trying
to reach higher standards in my art.
I won't settle for less. This
applies to both music and cinema."

Criticisms |
Jennifer
Lopez was unimpressed by a magazine
interview with her ex-boyfriend Sean
'Diddy' Combs' current partner Kim
Porter, declaring the former model's
criticisms of her were "not
necessary."
Former model Porter dated the
hip-hop mogul from 1994 and they had
a son, Christian, together in 1997.
However, Combs left her to date his
musical protégé Lopez in 1999.
After his high-profile relationship
with Lopez ended in February 2001,
within two years he had reunited
with his old flame Porter and they
now have baby twin girls D'Lila and
Jessie, who were born in December.
In an October interview in Essence
magazine, Porter blasted Combs'
relationship with Lopez, declaring,
"He fell for a booty and a smile,"
and admitted she used to tell the
rapper he would return to her when
he left "his little Puerto Rican
girlfriend."
Porter admitted she was in contact
with Combs every day of his
relationship with Lopez and forbade
him from letting their son Christian
associate with the Latina beauty.
Porter said, "Does she look like the
type that would want to play house
and family with two little black
kids? No."
When asked by the New York Post what
she thought about Porter's comments,
Lopez says, "I am not going to go
there.
"Look, she knows what went on, I

learning more about Scientology
after spending time at the
organisation's Celebrity Center in
Hollywood.
Lopez's father has been a

time with devout Scientologist Tom

Holmes.
According to FoxNews.com, the couple
were introduced to the religion by

taking professional business
meetings at Scientology's Celebrity
Center and were staying in a
luxurious suite at the center during
a recent trip to Los Angeles.
Anthony has also reportedly taken a

raised Catholic," she explained.
"But it's funny the way people come

Jennifer Lopez Ex Ordered Into Arbitration |
Jennifer
Lopez's first husband, Ojani Noa,
was ordered Monday to enter
arbitration with the pop star over
his plans for a tell-all book about
their brief marriage.
Lopez filed a Superior Court breach
of contract suit nine months ago and
got a restraining order barring Noa
from publishing intimate details of
their sex life. She also asked for
arbitration.
Noa's ghostwritten book alleges
Lopez had multiple affairs,
including one with her third and
current husband Marc Anthony, court
documents revealed.
"This is about my life, coming here
from Cuba and falling in love with
Jennifer," Noa said.
On Monday, Superior Court Judge
Victor H. Person agreed with Lopez
lawyer, Paul N. Sorrell, that Noa
was bound to arbitration under terms
of an October 2005 settlement of
another lawsuit.
A progress hearing in the
arbitration proceeding will be held
July 30.
Noa, who showed up in court again
without a lawyer, objected to the
arbitration order, saying he wanted
the benefit of a public trial of the
case.
"Basically, they were trying to
damage my name and my career, now
they want to go private in
arbitration," Noa, 31, told the
judge.
Lopez, 36, has made every effort to
keep the details of the dispute
private, but had to go public with
her lawsuit in order to get a
preliminary injunction against Noa,
Sorrell said.
Lopez's damages could be in excess
of $10 million if the book is
published, the attorney said.
In the previous lawsuit, Noa sued
Lopez for breach-of-contract,
alleging she lured him into taking a
managerial job in 2002 at her
Pasadena restaurant, then fired him
five months later.
Lopez, who has appeared in such
films as "Selena,""Out of Sight "
and "Monster-in-Law," married Noa in
February 1997 after meeting him in a
Miami restaurant. They divorced 11
months later.

Jennifer
Lopez is to release her first
Spanish-language album in April.
Billboard reports that 'Como Ama Una
Mujer' ('How a Woman Loves') will be
released on 3 April and was
co-written and co-produced by
Lopez's husband, Marc Anthony.
Speaking to Billboard about the
album, Lopez said: "Emotionally
speaking, to me this album is more
me than any other album."
As part of the promotion of the
record, a deal is being negotiated
with the Univision TV network for a
five-part miniseries, based on the
content of the album.
While Lopez will not act in the
series, she will perform a song at
the end of each episode.
Lopez also plans to release a new
English-language album before the
end of the year, with Billboard
describing that album as "more
urban-leaning".
"I've matured as a singer," Lopez
told Billboard. "Marc gave me
confidence in the studio as well.
When someone believes in you so
much, you don't want to let them
down."
She continued: "And it's also the
material. I think this material lent
itself to my voice. And it actually
made me approach my new English
album in a different way. I have a
different standard now."

2007
will be an extremely busy year for
Jennifer Lopez.
Her reality TV show 'DanceLife' will
premiere on MTV this week but she
will also release two albums and
star in two movies in '07.
JLo has signed on to star in New
Line Cinemas 'Bridge and Tunnel',
playing the part of a female stock
broker. She will also be seen in
'The Singer' (El Cantante) alongside
her husband Marc Anthony.
This week though, the TV series 'DanceLife'
premieres on MTV.
The show is about six dancers who
attempt to get a gig in concerts,
music videos and commercials. To win
the contest, they have to audition
for Ashlee Simpson, the Pussycat
Dolls, Mary J. Blige, Omarion and
Nelly Furtado.
One of the contestants on the show
is a former Pussycat Doll called
Staci.
The first episode of 'DanceLife'
airs tonight on MTV at 10.30pm
ET/PT.

It’s
amazing what a little pregnancy bump
can do.
But as Access Hollywood’s own
mother-to-be Nancy O’Dell found out,
her baby bump got Jennifer Lopez to
talk all about her future,
motherhood plans and how well she
can keep a secret.
“Hey! I guess this is going to open
up the questions right there,”
Jennifer said as she rubbed Nancy’s
belly.
“Yeah I know,” Nancy smiled.
As it turns out, Jennifer knew about
Nancy’s special little addition long
before most people did.
“When I got the accessories award
that night, she told me and Marc,”
Lopez revealed to our cameras,
referring to her win at the ACE
Awards back in October 2006. “She’s
friends with Marc from a few years
back.”
“Yeah, and Marc actually said ‘This
is kind of a different dress for
you… it’s really baggy and loose,’”
Nancy laughed.
“And then he came and whispered to
me ‘Guess what? Nancy’s pregnant.
You can’t say anything’” Jen said.
Luckily, Nancy’s secret was safe
with Jennifer, who looked radiant
from head to toe in a radiant
knee-length Chloe dress with her
tousled and wavy when Nancy spoke
with her during a press conference
to promote her new MTV reality show
“DanceLife.”
The show chronicles the ups and
downs of making it as a professional
dancer — something Lopez has plenty
of experience with from her Fly
Girls days on “In Living Color.”
“What would you go back and tell the
Fly Girl back then that you were?
What would you go back and tell her
now that you’ve lived your life and
become so successful?” Nancy asked.
“Oh, it’s going to be exciting,” she
laughed. “Wait ‘til you see.”
And then Nancy reminded J.Lo of a
pregnancy promise made long ago.
“I’m not going to ask you the
question that everybody’s asking you
about the kid. All I want to say as
we end this is that I told you first
that if it ever does happen, I want
to be one of the first ones you guys
call,” Nancy smiled.
“OK, I’ll tell Marc,” Jen laughed.
“Here’s the big belly for you,”
Nancy joked, rubbing her tummy. “You
tell him I’m growing by leaps and
bounds.”
